Logitech K750 with Purple lle Card (older Version)-Flawless

For RetroConnector keyboard interface for Apple IIe

The Logitech Wireless K750 Keyboard for. Mac is working flawlessly with my Apple lle and the purple interface card. I’ve had the older card for a while but just yesterday installed it. I’ve been performing tests for a few hours with no issues. The Command, option, control keys work as do the arrow keys, and the 10 keypad on the right side. Thrilled. While doing this the pass through connection from the actual IIe Keyboard is working. That is how I perform control-resets.

never worked

This product is a shame, it never worked
it's failing with most of the keyboard I tried...

the keyboard reset again and again...

Even worse I discovered in the firmware that most of the disconnections were coming from a badly designed lookup table
I rewrote this section and send my working modifications and sent them to the author

he immediately removed my modifications....
I guess that this guy is unable to program properly

For RetroConnector Joystick Shield

I was playing Wings of Fury in an emulator and couldn't for the life of me figure out why I was doing so poorly. Long story short, the game was designed with the joystick of the times in mind, and they had a square-shaped enclosure vs the circular enclosure on modern gamepads. The code very specifically was looking for that 135 degree joystick position for take-off, which is trivial with a square share (slam the stick in the upper-left corner) but more difficult with a circular shape. The shield arrived quickly and very well packed. "Documentation" is etched right into the board (so you can't really lose it). Plug it in and go. PS - If you have a mounting bracket for an RS-232 serial port, the RetroConnect bolts perfectly onto that so you can have an extremely elegant solution for PC installation. Well except you can't get at the ZERO button but most emulators provide joystick calibration.

For all Apple geeks and old computer fans, this very clever adapter adds a bit of charm and whimsy to a modern computer setup. It works well with no setup required, I currently have a first generation 9 pin Apple mouse working with a modern Intel iMac. Lots of fun!

For Uthernet II Light Pipe

I bought the version that combines with an RJ45 panel-mount extension cable. The cable wasn't in stock at the time but I bought one online for $5. The light pipes connect snugly to the Uthernet II card, and also has a slide-away type connection so that if you do accidentally tug on it while tinkering around, it slides off the card without breaking the attaching clip. The lights look great, and my Apple IIe now has a lighted ethernet panel mount instead of a wire running into the back of the case! My girlfriend is normally not very excited about my Apple II explorations but the Light Pipe got a "Wow! That's really cool!" endorsement. Buy the Light Pipe. It's girlfriend approved.

Working great on IIgs

For RetroConnector Joystick Interface for Apple II

Using mine on a IIgs with a Cirka SNES USB controller. (The Cirka controllers are some of the best re-production of the original SNES pads.) Works great, highly recommended. You'll have to excuse me, Bubble Bobble just finished loading.

An inexpensive and excellent piece of work

For M0100 to USB Conversion

If you lived through the original Mac days of 1984, you'll really appreciate this modern update of the original Macintosh ball mouse. Sure, there's no scroll wheel or right-click, but you don't have to scrape gunk off the ball rollers any more, or crawl around on your hands and knees after the ball rolls under your desk.

The conversion is 100% reversible and all the original mouse parts, cleaned, are supplied in the unlikely even you ever need to connect the mouse to a 1980s-era Mac. For the price, this is an excellent piece of nostalgia any Mac user will appreciate.

It works well

For RetroConnector Joystick Shield

The adapter works well on my son's old iMac, but didn't as well on my newer iMac due to some custom configuration on my part of my iMac. It works very well with Virtual ][, which is why I bought it in the first place. The only thing I think that would make it better would be for it to have some kind of casing around it so that the circuitry wasn't exposed.

Used with an Apple IIe and MadCatz USB gamepad

Retroconnector is working as expected with MadCatz Controller.
I was unable to use my Xbox 360 wired USB controller with it.

Very satisfied and interface is working great.

Back to 80s games with original joysticks

For RetroConnector Joystick Shield

Works very well, easy to connect. No software required. Check the calibration with emulators and everything will work. Tested on MacBook Pro 15 "2012 Mavericks 10.9.1, Virtual II emulator and Apple II Joystick (DB9 port). Back to 80s games with original joysticks
