Logitech K750 with Purple lle Card (older Version)-Flawless

For RetroConnector keyboard interface for Apple IIe

The Logitech Wireless K750 Keyboard for. Mac is working flawlessly with my Apple lle and the purple interface card. I’ve had the older card for a while but just yesterday installed it. I’ve been performing tests for a few hours with no issues. The Command, option, control keys work as do the arrow keys, and the 10 keypad on the right side. Thrilled. While doing this the pass through connection from the actual IIe Keyboard is working. That is how I perform control-resets.

This product is a shame, it never worked
it's failing with most of the keyboard I tried...

the keyboard reset again and again...

the best result were obtained with parallax ps/2 keyboard + usb to ps/2 adaptor...

For RetroConnector Joystick Shield

I was playing Wings of Fury in an emulator and couldn't for the life of me figure out why I was doing so poorly. Long story short, the game was designed with the joystick of the times in mind, and they had a square-shaped enclosure vs the circular enclosure on modern gamepads. The code very specifically was looking for that 135 degree joystick position for take-off, which is trivial with a square share (slam the stick in the upper-left corner) but more difficult with a circular shape. The shield arrived quickly and very well packed. "Documentation" is etched right into the board (so you can't really lose it). Plug it in and go. PS - If you have a mounting bracket for an RS-232 serial port, the RetroConnect bolts perfectly onto that so you can have an extremely elegant solution for PC installation. Well except you can't get at the ZERO button but most emulators provide joystick calibration.

For all Apple geeks and old computer fans, this very clever adapter adds a bit of charm and whimsy to a modern computer setup. It works well with no setup required, I currently have a first generation 9 pin Apple mouse working with a modern Intel iMac. Lots of fun!

For Uthernet II Light Pipe

I bought the version that combines with an RJ45 panel-mount extension cable. The cable wasn't in stock at the time but I bought one online for $5. The light pipes connect snugly to the Uthernet II card, and also has a slide-away type connection so that if you do accidentally tug on it while tinkering around, it slides off the card without breaking the attaching clip. The lights look great, and my Apple IIe now has a lighted ethernet panel mount instead of a wire running into the back of the case! My girlfriend is normally not very excited about my Apple II explorations but the Light Pipe got a "Wow! That's really cool!" endorsement. Buy the Light Pipe. It's girlfriend approved.
