The cube is built with the parts proposed as a kit, see RGB microcube - 9mm side
This cube is easy to solder, but if you are afraid about soldering, somebody else will enjoy the assembly for you. You get a tested cube and in addition a semi-transparent 20mm sphere made of two pieces easy to clip and remove.
Great cube indeed, but there are three problems left:
get a controller with the software primitives - any Arduino board and many others
write or load the demo program - your skill, but we have examples
get a power supply - you know how to get it huge.
We thought about this and we have a clean solution you will not easily match! The MiniDuiPo is 40x40x10mm, easy to hide behind your neck, and includes a 200 mAh Lipo (5-10 hours for many applications, as easy to program as any Arduino board, it uses the convenient Mini-USB connector. Basically, it is an Arduino Nano, but with a built-in Lipo charger, and a rotary switch, so you can select 16 demo programs you have prepared. See all the features on Tindie MiniDuiPo.
We recognize our top users by making them a Tindarian. Tindarians have access to secret & unreleased features.
We look for the most active & best members of the Tindie community, and invite them to join. There isn't a selection process or form to fill out. The only way to become a Tindarian is by being a nice & active member of the Tindie community!
