Beside a few annoying thing, it's OK
For VWCDPIC Audio Interface Adapter
First when I got it and built it in, it was not working! The seller / assembler has forgotten to solder 3 resistors. 3 components from the 8... It is almost 40% of the components.
They were the series resistors on the communication lines, so after connecting the VWCDPIC to the Mini DIN connector, nothing happened. The device does not even have a feedback LED or something that shows it is powered up. I had to disassemble the crimped cables from the connector house (it is not that easy and may cause permanent damage in the connector / crimps), cut the shrink tube, debug the whole PCB, solder the forgotten components, remake the electronic insulation and reassemble everything. Then it fortunately worked well.
You see, the device is good and the price is very favorable / fair. However I am not criticizing the product, only the fact it was neither double-checked nor functionally tested before shipment. I could solve it because I am an engineer, but what if an average person with lack of technical skills gets it?
One more thing: please use later a bit more detailed / more clear assemble guide not a photocopied, scraped one. You know, home made stuff can also have high quality and look professional...
