I had such a good experience with the 6-channel level shifter, I decided to order one more as well as this mini shield. It's tiny and great for a wearable project I'm working on. The only suggestion I have is that I would have liked 5V / Gnd connections for each of the 4 channels, like with the larger shield. Not a big issue but would be nice if you can make it fit. Works great!
Purchased this board to drive an animated lamp project. It provides a nice, clean solution to adding a level shifter to your design, and includes the recommended capacitor and in-line resistors. Reasonably priced. Works great!
Webserver code is cool not what I'm using it for. The documentation wasn't just clear enough on the board layout. It says it can use clocking LEDs but no pin for it. It just says output. The code is for a webserver or BLE only. No notation or illustration on where in the code to change the pins.

I finally received my order, and I was very happy and satisfied. It came in a nice black envelope with protective cover for the level shiffter. Soldering went easy, but I wished there were more detailed pictures of how the part should go together (not so professional in electronic component and how they are orinated).
Once assembled, all worked fine.
One point, if you are not using a good power supply, the esp2866 will reboot and have error. all solved when I added a proper power supply to the end of the LED strip on the injection point.
