A true piece of art!

For Fibonacci256 - 166mm disc with 256 WS2812B RGB LED

The 256-sized Fibonacci disc is amazingly hypnotic. The patterns using the as-shipped code are great, and setup is easy with just a cell phone (to access the WiFi access point it creates, so you can connect the device to your own WiFi).

Documentation is well above average for open-source projects, but it does presume some technical capability if you want to update the software or customize.

As-shipped, it's ready to hang on a wall, with a single USB power cord, creating a mesmerizing piece that will capture your guests' attention (repeatedly, and often without them realizing they've been staring at it for 30 seconds with mouth open).

A superb, hypnotic, and astonishing light display

For Fibonacci256 - 166mm disc with 256 WS2812B RGB LED

I resisted buying this for several weeks because of the need to import it to the UK, but I'm so glad I finally gave in and placed the order. It took just over a week to get to me in the UK, and has taken centre stage in the collection of programmable LED objects decorating the bookcases behind me in online meetings. It's already had several comments and questions from colleagues fascinated by it and wanting their own. It's certainly more interesting than looking at me in meetings(!), and I've just ordered a couple of the smaller ones for Christmas presents.

It's the most enjoyable and fascinating piece of electronics I've bought, and that's saying a lot. I'll be getting another 256 for the living room when they're back in stock, as I'm aware my colleagues enjoy the one in my office even more than I do!

Juts unpacked the box and turned it on, so I haven't explored the backend/api, but it looks awesome. Mesmerizing. Highly recomend as a piece of electronic art

Great simple solution for making a ESP8266 LED-friendly

For 6 Output Wemos D1 Mini Wi-Fi LED Controller

Purchased this board to drive an animated lamp project. It provides a nice, clean solution to adding a level shifter to your design, and includes the recommended capacitor and in-line resistors. Reasonably priced. Works great!

Worked great, nice solution for a low-profile wearable

For Wemos D1 Mini ESP8266 Level Shifter Mini Shield

I had such a good experience with the 6-channel level shifter, I decided to order one more as well as this mini shield. It's tiny and great for a wearable project I'm working on. The only suggestion I have is that I would have liked 5V / Gnd connections for each of the 4 channels, like with the larger shield. Not a big issue but would be nice if you can make it fit. Works great!

Great board but....

For NodeMCU-32S ESP32 Wi-Fi and BLE LED Controller

Webserver code is cool not what I'm using it for. The documentation wasn't just clear enough on the board layout. It says it can use clocking LEDs but no pin for it. It just says output. The code is for a webserver or BLE only. No notation or illustration on where in the code to change the pins.

High quality component and well built board.

For Wemos D1 Mini ESP8266 LED & Level Shifter Shield

I finally received my order, and I was very happy and satisfied. It came in a nice black envelope with protective cover for the level shiffter. Soldering went easy, but I wished there were more detailed pictures of how the part should go together (not so professional in electronic component and how they are orinated).

Once assembled, all worked fine.

One point, if you are not using a good power supply, the esp2866 will reboot and have error. all solved when I added a proper power supply to the end of the LED strip on the injection point.
