With the COVID lockdowns, I have had time to build several kits over the past few months. I stumbled across this particular kit, and thought it would be a fun build. I was not disappointed. The order was shipped quickly, and arrived in a nicely padded envelope. The online instructions were easy to follow, but the kit was simple enough such that I really didn't need to reference the instructions too much. It was built and running in less than an hour. The HDSP display is a little different than some of the other ones I have in other clocks I've built, which made this kit unique.

An interesting gizmo going to sitting for years on my desk.
The overall design is great and the room of expansion is enough for me to do modifications. It's tiny but very functional. II definitely recommending this interesting clock with my friends and see what we can do. Thanks!
I build many clock kits. Have made many including Nixie, VFD and large digit LED. This was my first based on the HP HDSP 3534 matrix display. Wasa relatively simple clock to build, but the instructions could have been a little clearer. Had to contact the seller for clarification, but the response was fast, and clear. You can watch my build video on my youtube channel 12voltvids
I have been led's and clocks since buying my first led in 1969 at a military surplus store in London - it was vey expensive and dim. The kit was well packed in an antistatic bag. Very simple to put together, and it worked no problem. Setting is very simple. If there really are 770 "proverbs" (is "He's dead Jim" ann actual proverb?) in there, it's going to take some time to see them all. Anyway, it will be a good addition to my growing collection of odd digital clocks.
