The shield works straight out of the box, and it is a good starting point for beginners with LoraWAN and TTN, like myself.
Pluses: - well-soldered PCB and components - it comes with an antenna by default
Negs: - shipping is a bit slow and untracked, however I understand that this is the cheapest option, and I got the product intact. - a bit more comprehensive documentation would be nice. The pieces can be put together mostly from github, but it would be easier to have everything in one place.
All in all, the shield works well, and it was a worthy purchase.
Une finition impeccable qui valorise le rituel du déballage. La prédominance de la couleur pourpre vient sublimer l'harmonie chromatique des composants. Le paquet a été livré sans détours dans une enveloppe a la décoration sobre et le timbrage précis.
Pros: - pre-soldered main components is very convenient \o/ - this hat is for Pi Zero, however it can work on Pi2/Pi3 if stacked on an existing hat (i.e. POE hat) Cons: - pre-soldered GPIO header prevented me from stacking it at the bottom side of my pi zero
Suggestion: don't pre-solder the GPIO header (or let the buyer choose at the time of purchase)
I bought some PCBs and received them after 5 days (pretty fast). They are of very good quality. Thank you! A little observation. I found a problem, fairly easy to fix. the ANTENNA pad of RFM9X is connected to GND. I'm convinced it's a technological issue. It can be easily corrected with a cutter if you have not already attached the radio module.
