Update(03/25/2013):

PCBs have arrived today, however I am still waiting for the temperature sensors to arrive. I first ordered parts from microchipDirect, but my order was shipped only partially. Then I ordered rest of the components from mouser, and should arrive in a couple days.

Thank you to them who supported the fundraiser to make it successful. The boards have already been sent for manufacture, and I am hoping to get them back in approximately two weeks.

I2C EEPROM + Temperature Sensor Module

This listing is for a tiny I2C module with a 512 Kbit EEPROM and a high-resolution (12-bit) temperature sensor. The module is only 0.95" X 0.65" big with all surface mount components.

Features:

1. Microchip's 24LC512 EEPROM (512 Kbit or 64K bytes)
2. Microchip's MCP9802 temperature sensor with user-selectable 9- to 12-bit temperature measurement resolution
3. Pin headers with standard 0.1" spacing for breadboarding
4. Operating voltage range 2.7V to 5.5V
5. I2C pull-up resistors and decoupling capacitors on board

Applications:

• Temperature monitoring, controlling, and logging
• Learning and practicing I2C protocol
• Rapid prototyping with Microchip's serial EEPROM and MCP9802 temperature sensor

Note:

1. This fundraiser will end in two weeks from today (2/23/2013). If it is successful, it will need 2-3 extra weeks for manufacturing PCBs and assembling them. So the shipping time would be around the last week of March, 2013.
