The system runs Ubuntu by default, with the XFCE desktop environment.
This Macintosh model is precisely crafted at 1/4 scale of the original Macintosh 128K in appearance, powered by the Libre Computer "Tai Shan Pi" development board (RK3566 processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB eMMC), capable of running operating systems such as Ubuntu.
The model features a 2-inch 480x360 MIPI display. On the back, it exposes two UART ports, one I2C port, one PWM port, one GPIO pin, and a 3.3V power output from the Tai Shan Pi board. The USB port on the rear can be used for powering the device, flashing firmware, or connecting USB peripherals. Additionally, an mSATA expansion board is installed inside for additional storage capacity, along with two internal USB ports for connecting built-in wireless mouse/keyboard receivers or other small devices. The entire unit is built with a stainless steel sheet metal frame, and the outer shell is 3D-printed for easy disassembly and maintenance. Complete engineering source files are provided to support further customization and development.
Power options: 12V DC via 3.5x1.35mm barrel jack, or via the USB port.
Dimensions: Approximately 76 x 38 x 35 mm (3" x 1.5" x 1.38")
Display: 2-inch, 480x360 resolution
Power consumption: Around 2.5–7W
External power supply capability: 3.3V, current-limited to approximately 400mA
