Introduction

the AntRunner-Pro is pro verion of AntRunner Rotator made by MuseLab. It can be used for real-time automatic racking of satellites with corresponding open source software which is available on Windows/Linux/Mac/RaspberryPi/Android. support 360-degree azimuth and 90-degree elevation control, waterproof, waterproof, powered by a 12V power supply. controlled via Ethernet with the open source Gpredict. It can install various types of antennas (usually Yagi antennas), and can support antennas up to 10KG. It's perfectly suited for fixed installation on a rooftop for radio communication operations.

Works Well

Shipping was fairly quick and product was packaged well.
Had no issues getting the rotator running and using SatDump for control.

I have had the top PCB standoffs come loose and some other parts but they were noticed before any issues were caused. If it happens again I will use some theadlocker to secure any problematic areas.

Currently testing with a parabolic grid antenna for l-band and it is holding so far.

Cannot hold my 1.6 kg antena.

I bought a 3.37 lbs antena from Noolec and spent the time setting it up with the combo and the rotator cannot lift up the antena from zero degrees. It skips gear teeth. If you assist it it will lift it up but once you get it at a 45 degree angle is proceeds to hard drop then antena back to zero degrees.

Hello, it is better to fix the center of gravity of the antenna on the bracket, which will be more stable

Can't find .bat file

Like someone else in the reviews I downloaded Hamlib and connect the rotor and I cannot find the AntRunner_Start_Serial.bat file to edit my com port!

Amazing

It works and is more accurate than I expected. The packaging was very good.

I did have one problem. A PCB standoff screw vibrated loose and it jammed the azimuth motor. I caught it before it caused any damage.

Works very well with Gpredict, I have also used SatDump which has rotator control now.

If anyone is having trouble on Linux, you may need to disable/remove BRLTTY in addition to setting dialout permission for USB serial connection.

Well built and great footprint.

Just received mine today and having one small problem. Can't find the AntRunner_Start_Serial.bat file in the HamLib directory that is mentioned in the documentation. Need to modify this file to get things going. Thanks

Well made. Looks good.

It is well made and looks good.
I will be testing it in the coming days.

The rotator and BoM is as described.
The controller is positioned under the top elevation bracket to reduce long motor cables.
USB and Power cables need to be long enough to not tangle when operating.
