It's a Backlight Stand for this PCB Calendar. It can sit on a desk or it can be mounted on a wall. The backlight is populated with 12 high brightness cree LEDs. It comes in two versions, 12V or 5V USB.
In addition there is a place to solder screw terminal or a pin header. Use the switch to select between low light and high light. It can be converted to an on/off switch by cutting a trace under the circle (see the board). You can choose optional legs if you want to put it on a desk. There are four versions, each with different angle. Legs will just snap in the slots on the backlight. You can also solder them to the backlight for extra rigidity.
The backlight is sold without the calendar plate. Screws and standoffs are included. USB cable or power adapter is NOT included. I will make a new calendar plate every year, so the backlight is reusable. Form factor is a square, the size is just below 10cm x 10cm (4" x 4")
