My Williams Phoenix has never worked better

For System Alpha - Fix your 1977-83 Williams Pinball

Super happy with my purchase of the System Alpha board. Our Williams Phoenix hasn't worked properly for over a decade now. We even threw in a Rottendog board years ago and had no luck getting it to work. This board was really easy to setup, and programming the settings file was a breeze. And for the first time in nearly 50 years, the machine finally has free play (we used to open the door and manually trigger the credits). I was even able to set it up so that reaching score milestones awards an extra ball instead of a credit for a bit of extra fun. The board also saves high scores, which our machine used to reset everytime we turned it off. Overall I couldn't be happier with this board, it brought a pinball machine back to life! If you have an old Williams SS machine, definitely get this board!

A must have if you have tired or problematic Williams boards

For System Alpha - Fix your 1977-83 Williams Pinball

Shipping was quick and communication was excellent! This board is exactly what we’ve been needing in this hobby with simplistic design executed brilliantly! The board build is clean with clear labeling and a nice silkscreen on the back which unfortunately can only be appreciated before you install it in your game. Online game documentation is detailed with precise directions making it easy enough for a casual pinball owner with basic computer skills to install this board without help. Flashing the board was easy as connecting to your computer with a USB to USB-C cable, dropping the ROM files downloaded from IPDB or other source into the mounted volume and pressing the flash button on the board. Installation was straight forward with each connector labeled with the wire colors and keyed for the corresponding plugs. First boot up presents as a Williams machine in code identifier to which you enter audit and adjustments, make your settings and then power down for 5-10 seconds then power back on (fast power triggers will not force boot this board). Once powered on it boots almost instantly into attract mode. Gameplay is identical to stock boards with zero lag. The only difference you may notice is snappier solenoids which is a win! This board is my new Go-To when I bring in new system 3-7 games into my collection and you can interact with the board designer on the Pinside forum for additional help if needed. Thank you for being such an asset to the Pinball community!

This board is amazing, my Flash is working perfectly now! Love the details on the board itself and flashing the ROM couldn't be easier.
