I have Brian Loughs ESP32 => HUB75 boards that let you use PXMatrix on these LED panels and they work great, but PXMatrix has its limitations. This is the first ESP32 HUB75 board that supports SmartMatrix, and I thought that a multiplexer or something similar would have been required.
I can confirm, so far, that the board works find with SmartMatrix ; the example sketches that require SPIFFS (GIF related sketches) need the plugin installed and files uploaded, both spelled out somewhere, but it took me a couple hours to figure out the SPIFFS step.
Great feature of this board is making available some pins, including analog, for anything you want to add. I specifically want to use a microphone to make a spectrum analyzer with a couple of the 16x32 panels for use of spicing up my background during video conferences for work during these Quarantine times
