It is a neat product!

For RAK831 Raspberry Pi Zero Breakout/Backplane

I like the product very much it is compact, and it does its job.

There are however two more questions which did not come up in the documentation:

1. For what power-jack type is the footprint on the PCB?
2. What is the recommended fuse size?

ESP32-WROVER, a versatile module for an amazingly low price!

Kilobyte's approach towards selling these modules is very wise: At the moment of my purchase, the price was hardly beatable even by small Chinese distributors. Big western electronics distributors should learn from Mr. Kilobyte, if they want to stay in business...

Module itself is excellent and versatile, with plentiful documentation and development tools provided online, by Espressif.

A great little board

For Tiny ESP32 WROVER pSRAM board

This does what it says on the tin. It's the most compact ESP32/SPIRAM board I've encountered, and the quality of construction is excellent. The boards were despatched promptly and well packaged.

I'm using them to run MicroPython. This installed easily. It this works perfectly, both the official port and the Loboris port which enables MicroPython to use the SPIRAM for general heap storage. I thoroughly recommend this board running MicroPython.

A small issue is with the optional HTU21D temperature and humidity chip. While it works perfectly it is warmed by the adjacent ESP32 module, which affects its readings. This is probably inevitable on such a tiny board. I think the solution is to put the ESP32 into sleep mode for a period before taking a reading. Otherwise buy without the HTU21D and use an external HTU21D breakout (e.g. from Adafruit).

Great board

The perfect board for connecting your RAK831 gateway to the pi0. Documentation does not quite match the actual board but in the end you only need to solder headers and plug in the boards.

Great Product, Works as Expected

For Tiny ESP32 WROVER pSRAM board

It shipped the same day I ordered it. The build quality is good and the board works well. The shipping is slow to the U.S. but that's not the seller's fault. Things stall in customs for several days sometimes. Very pleased with this board, and I'm on the wait list to get more.

p.s I appriciate if you could post the example code how to use the psram in the board.

Unfortunately I can't control how long a Shipment needs. I usually ship these with Priority (the highest tier I can book) on the next work day.

You just have to activate the pSRAM in the make menuconfig. More is not needed! The compiler then choses automatically what it places in the internal and external RAM. Please reefer to the "How can I use this pSRAM?" Section on the product page.

Quality assembly. Efficient service.

For Tiny ESP32 board

Works as advertised.

This is my first ESP32 board and so I struggled a little to get a serial connection working. No issue with the board - just with the serial terminal software I was using on linux. This was resolved with some quick help from the store owner.

The board is well assembled and the silkscreen labelling (both sides) of all I/O is excellent.

My only quibble is that some more documentation on setting up comms to the board would be helpful - as well as using the BME280 sensor. But this info is available on the web. At least the schematic is available which is important.

Excellent seller, top product !!

For RFM95 868Mhz LoRa Module

I purchased my 2xRFM95, the next day they were shipped and 4 days later (Greece) I had them !!
They were very well protected (bubble-wrap envelope, antistatic bag) and fully functional, as in photos and as described !
After some communication I had with Kilobyte for a wiring issue (my fault, always check wire continuity :-) !!), he helped me solve the problem and now my nodes are sending to TTN !

Thank you very much for a friendly, direct and helpful support and for a pleasant transaction !

fits perfect

Fit's perfectly and works out of the box.
passt perfekt und funktiniert auf anhieb.

geht mit älterem raspi obschon der noch keine mounting holes hat. auf den neuen raspis passen die löcher und mitgelieferten schrauben wunderbar. für den raspi zero gibts ein separaten adapter.

Absolutely fabulous!

For WiFi ESP8285 OLED Display Module

As a esp8266/8285 newbie, this was my first contact with this IoT 'device'. Grown up in the Arduino world, I needed this device to get smaller and better connected in my projects :-D
At first I had some problems with uploading some samples :-/ I simply overlooked the link to the documentation :-( So I wrote an email to the kilobyte and within a couple of minutes I received the needed help! Perfect!
Thanks again for the fast help and support! The device is simply brilliant!
