Everything is straightforward explained

For Bluetooth module VOLVO V50, S40, C30, C70, XC90

The card arrived well protected, and with the help of documentation was quite easy to install. Just pay attention to the connection clips of the steering wheel control, as you have to double check that connects properly.
Beyond that, it's a card that solves many volvo owners headache -including me-.

The best bluetooth audio module for your VAG group car. After trying, almost all my friends use it now. Audio quality is numerous times better than of those cheap chinese modules and has no connection issues. Would definitely buy again, best bang for your buck if you're looking for best quality audio and hassle-free music controls from the steering wheel.

The product is excellent and meets expectations. I bought the version with steering wheel controls, and it's a huge help to be able to change songs from the steering wheel without having to touch my phone. Communication with the seller was also excellent.

By far the best option for cars without an aux port

For AUX input VOLVO V50, S40, C30, C70, XC90

I have searched every corner of the internet for a way to get an aux port in my car, but I only found very expensive MOST interfaces.
Afterwards I tried opening up the rear amplifier and cd player to look for a analog input but had no luck either.
Then I came across this aux board through a forum and ordered it instantly because of the great reviews.
Shipping to the Netherlands took about a week which is pretty fast, and the installation was very easy thanks to the youtube video.
The sound quality is just as good as a cd and the volume is exactly the same. I also really like that it doesn’t permanently disable the cd player.
I don’t know how you’ve done it, but it works absolutely flawlessly!
By far the best option if you don’t have an aux port, way better than any fm transmitter or modulator.
10/10 would recommend!

Best mod you can buy for your P1 Volvo

For Bluetooth module VOLVO V50, S40, C30, C70, XC90

Just put this in my 2006 V50 T5 AWD with the CD player with built in amp, and man am I seriously impressed. I used a Bluetooth transmitter before and the sound quality was awful, but now with this module it sounds better than my Mazda's Bose sound system, dare I say! The instructions were super clear and helpful, and were a lot easier to follow than they seemed at just a glance.

I definitely recommend removing the plastic plate between the pedals and steering wheel in the footwell if you bought the microphone (which sounds better than my cellphone's my partner says) for the easiest time routing the cable to the waterfall assembly area. Just two T25 screws near the footwell light.

Great product!!!

For AUX input VOLVO V50, S40, C30, C70, XC90

Definitely the best solution for getting AUX in old Volvos.

Installation was not that hard and it is well documented, It felt a bit funny to drill a hole in my car haha, but it was all worth it! (I've installed the 3.5mm jack nicely behind the waterfall so it is hidden)

It sounds p e r f e c t (as expected for cabled AUX), also the device automatically switches between CD and AUX when a cable is plugged or unplugged.

It is a very quirky solution as it tricks the car that the audio is coming from the CD player, therefore it ONLY works when a CD is inserted, it's not the most elegant solution but it is the most practical one.

Also for me, the volume is just as loud as from the CD player, I've read some reviews mentioning it is a bit quieter, I think that depends on the device you're playing music from. If you play it from an old iPod it's the same volume and it sounds just as good as the CDs, from some android phones it's a bit quieter. Nonetheless make sure you have the device set to max volume and to only adjust it from the car's volume knob.

Can I mount AUX module next to Bluetooth?

I bought bluetooth module and all is good as per instruction. Is it possible to also mount the second product which is aux module to have bluetooth and aux at the same time? I would like to modify my RTVI to have apple car play but it would be way more easier to have aux module for that

Hello,

Yes, you can! You have to connect it like so: Mainboard <-> BT module <-> AUX module <-> CD drive. If you want that AUX module to have higher priority connect it first like so: Mainboard <-> AUX module <-> BT module <-> CD drive. If you have any more questions just let me know.

Definitely a great product.

For AUX input VOLVO V50, S40, C30, C70, XC90

Justas is fantastic with answering emails and sharing details. The product, Aux-board, works very well. It was very easy to install and seems to be working very very well. I've hardwired mine to an FM transmitter to be able to play music from a TF (SD) card and have bluetooth. Justas has designed this board so you don't lose use of the CD. If you want to use the CD you just have to unplug your device from his supplied Aux port. If you hard-wire the device in, as I have done, then you'll need to add in an extra little switch, but no big deal. The volume is a bit lower than the Radio and CD, but not that much. So all in all considering it brings an old sound-system in an old car to bluetooth capable, it is absolutely fantastic.

Great product. The seller sent the product quickly. I have a 2004 volvo, so mounting the board in the middle of the CD was a lot different, but it worked for me. Cassette player for one CD, without AUX. I took the hands-free version and did not regret it, it was worth it. The sound is great!

I install aux, the radio is a little different from video, but the principle is clear and I was able to assemble it. I didn’t know that a standard system could sound like that, the sound quality is simply excellent (after the FM module), thanks for your work!!!

amazing product

I just installed this unit in my wife Volvo V50 from 2005 and everything was really easy to install. I few things where different from the manual. For removing the main board I had to bend some iron clips. and for routing the microphone cable I needed to remove an additional part below the steering wheel.
But never the less that all was easy and the quality is good.

If I needed to make one suggestion this would a small extension cord for the microphone, this way If I ever need to remove the radio again, this would save me a lot of work.

Works as advertised

For Bluetooth module VOLVO V50, S40, C30, C70, XC90

I ordered this for my 2005 Volvo s40 with single CD and no amplifier. The disassembly was easier than expected, needing to remove just 2 screws to access the inside of the unit. 4 more screws hold the CD unit inside.

The supplied flat cables, however, were not sufficient to reach the connectors. I used one of the supplied cables to reach the mainboard, and had to reuse the existing cable to connect the CD unit with the Bluetooth board because the supplied cable was too short. I had to remove the cable and flip it to be able to connect Bluetooth module with the CD unit.

Overall not a complicated installation. Took about an hour.

Great product!

Took about 2 week to ship to Holland. Install is not difficult at all. My mainboard is at the side not on the top so i have to use the original cable to connect to the module. Very happy with the product. Owner always there to help for any questions.

The best for BT audio & handsfree Volvo P1 models

Purchased this for my son's C30 (2008 model with the facelifted center console). Installation was relatively straightforward using the instructions and videos linked by Justas. Removal of the radio with the facelifted center console is a bit more of a hassle since a lot of parts have to be moved / removed, but once the radio was out the rest went smoothly. Routing of the microphone wire was probably the part which took the longest and involved the most swearing.

Once installed, audio quality is great for streaming audio, the microphone - and the handsfree calling quality in general - is also really good. I have installed a number of handsfree kits in various cars over the years, and this is definitely one of the best microphones I have tried on an non-factory solution.

Very happy customer - this really is a fantastic solution for Volvo P1 models. Hope that the steering wheel control module surfaces at some point :-)

Install can be tricky, but works like a charm

My C30 has an aux port, but this works so much better than everything I tried. A FM transmitter, Bluetooth dongle, and aux cable to my phone. You can change the name of the device so it looks like a factory option! Installation is not that hard, but I have a rare radio, so a small tweak was needed. Besides that tweak, it was really easy, and if you have any questions, the seller takes his time to help you. Thanks for the OEM-looking Bluetooth fix!

Great Stuff!

After almost 70 Cars in my life i bought an 2005 Volvo V 50. Perfect condition and a wonderful car. Base performance Radio System. No bluetooth, no aux, lousy sound. But what i did not know was the big volvo problem in pimping up the audio system inkluding a good working bluetooth connection to play my spotify stuff in the car. The pre owner used a Radio Transmitter...ok, but limited in sound quality and also with an reduced maximum loudness.

First i changed the 4 speakers in the four doors from base Performance Speakers (NO tweeters) to used High Performance speakers (now WITH the tweeters...also original High performance) Bought used at Ebay for EUR 200 in total. Plus i put some Alubutyl and Armaflex in the doors. Quality differenz is huge...but still no bluetooth.

Until today. Time from order to delivery in Germany only 1 Week. Installation was in knowing the Video and the paper Instruction quite easy. But do not rush, take your time and check also the different screws at the Radio unit.

Today i installed it all together and i am very happy at the end.

Maybe i will add up the System with an additional amplifer. There are some available from Jayks with plug and play Adapters for the Volvo V 50 and other Volvos....

game changer for older volvos

I'm using the bluetooth module for a while now. I absolutely love it. It connects perfectly, sounds great and is really easy to install. Absolute must have for anyone owning a old volvo without bluetooth!
Shipping was also pretty quick. From the order to the product arriving here in germany it only took about 2 weeks.
Communication was great aswell. I had a question about the product an Justas replied within a few hours.

Nice solution

Nice solution for my 2006 v50 with premium audio and 6cd player. I took the version with microphone and sadly not the steering wheel control. I tried contacting the developer multiple times on multiple platforms but there was no response, therefore I sadly had to buy it without the steering wheel control.

Installation took me 30 minutes in total, works like a charm.

Great product!

So many years without any aux / bluetooth connectivity, and now solved! Works exactly like advertised!

From product point of view installation couldn't be much simpler, just two flat cables and one antenna cable, even two-sided tapes were pre-attached. From Volvo point of view it's a pain in the butt, as getting to that flat cable means disassembling half of the car interior... But that's not really this product's fault. There are good tutorials in youtube though both for disassembling the waterfall panel and for dissassembling the CD player / media device, and can be done by anyone, when you take your time and be careful. A plastic upholstery removal set is highly recommended.

Installation is fairly easy, took less than 2 hours. Shipping was super fast and seller was really helpful and nice.
Quality is great and keeps the OEM look which is awesome. For it to work it needs for a cd to be playing, would recommend burning a cd with silence if you dont want music blasting the moment you turn on your car.

5 lat tak na prawdę szukałem czegoś żeby nie słuchać tylko paru utworów na płycie CD bo moje radio nie miało AUX ani nie otwierało płyt mp3 no i w końcu znalazłem moduł bluetooth który jestem bardzo ale to bardzo zadowolony z niego bo mogę puszczać utwory z telefonu na radio w dodatku tak czysto i wyraźnie niż na płycie CD a bass jest tak mocny że aż szyby mi latają w samochodzie. Bardzo Polecam ten moduł i mogę nawet podziękować wykonawcy tego modułu BT . :) :) :)

A perfect solution for a problem that bugged me for 14 years

I love my C30, but I always hated the fact that it's impossible to upgrade the basic radio and that it has no aux or Bluetooth. Today I installed Justas' solution in the car. It took about 2 hours total and it works perfectly. This device is absolutely genius and I'm so happy I stumbled upon it after having given up on this for a long time.
Justas shipped quickly and also answered some questions about it. I really hope the steering wheel upgrade will become available as standalone.

I was a bit sceptical in the beginning but that was all gone when i inserted an old disc an the bluetooth worked beautifully. It's amazing how you came up with this but it does exactly as advertised.

Shipping was also surpringingly quickly from Lithuania to Belgium. Received it a week later, which is quicker than expected!

Took me about 3h to install it, including disassembly and reinstallation + the microphone. Best investment i've done to my C30. So happy with it! The only downside is that it doesn't automatically pause the music when the car turns off but i don't think that's even a possibility so it's a very good choice. 100% recommend. Thanks mate, you helped me a ton!
