The TL;DR first: This is an out-of-the-box shiny masterpiece. Especially the inkjet art on the back of the PCB, it's as much of an art piece as it is tech triumph. You won't be disappointed.

The long way: I have a problem. That problem is only solved, by more RGB. Pixel Badge delivers in droves. There isn't documentation in the box, but there doesn't *need* to be, either. Pull it out, and plug it in, and get ready to feast your eyes on 256 of the tiniest suns you've ever seen. (I won't spoil the first-time-boot animation, but do make sure you're watching!)

The interface with directional switches and A/B switches didn't really need any introduction. Just mashing the buttons a few times I instantly had a feel for what I was doing, and how to adjust which app was running on the badge. I started to try to set up the wi-fi from the badge (which *is* possible), but I highly recommend taking a peek the docs and looking how to set up the serial terminal, to use it's awesome interface to enter your password.

As this is my first experience with the badge.team firmware, I didn't really know what to expect. I certainly didn't expect to find such a vibrant (LED pun) collection of apps that were out there already and ready to download and run. I can't wait to sink my teeth into that later.

So you're probably wondering why my title is "Communication only goes up to 5 stars". Not only is there some very helpful people on the Discord, Tom spent far too much time helping me out with a tiny issue. He had every answer possible, and you really can't ask for more from someone who's running this gig.

In conclusion: if you're on the fence and not sure, you want one, let me know, I'll come shove you off. You want one. I absolutely cannot wait to wear this shiny monster out and see what sorta minds I can blow!
