Quick build and extremely good documentation with two small exceptions. There are no clear instructions on how to set the clock and there was a problem with the device working after the build which was corrected by replacing the power supply (not provided in the kit). I worked with the seller to get this information. It would have been easier had this "warning" been in the documentation.
But, overall, it's an attractive looking device, fun to build, and fun to use.

It is most likely a USB power supply problem. I sent an email with helpful instructions. Guess you did not get it. I am still here to help. I've been doing this for over 10 years and sold over 1000 kits and going strong. You don't do that without good customer service.
I'm planning to incorporate this clock into a steampunk idea I have. I've assembled it, and it took much less time than I'd expected. Unfortunately, only the seconds-counter seems to work. I strongly suspect it's my sloppy soldering that is the cause, and I'm preparing now to clean up my work. In any case, If I can't make this one work, I'll buy another because the seller was very accommodating and sent me the color LEDs I wanted. (Hence the high scores for shipping and communication.) Documentation is so-so: the tinyurl website was extremely helpful, but the printed address was a bit illegible because underlining it obscured the "q" and made it look like an "a".
Anyway once my little project is complete, I'll post photos somewhere and give kudos to Apple Mountain.
