order cancelled due to tariffs

Pretty lame, despite shipping on 8/22 i got an order cancelled notice today due to "tariffs". why not just invoice the customer for the required tariff charge? why did it take 20 days to find this out. this was meant as a gift, and now i am up a creek looking for somethign else last minute. pretty dissappointed. I dont know if this was tindie, or the seller who handled this this way. but you should know, your store will still sell this to US customers as of today, so...

Hello, thanks for the comment. I'm sorry, but I did ship the item but in the meantime, the Portuguese postal services suspended the shipments and returned the package to me after the fact. Please understand that this was as unexpected to me as it was to you. I've rejected all US orders after this was put in place, since tindie does not allow me to suspend orders just to the US
I kindly ask to edit your review. I do this in my free time and I'm doing my best to share my project with others. Such a negative review will only hurt the project, specially since it does not reflect the actual project nor does it help making improvements to it
