Amazing work and best fit

I bought the Modchip for the Xiaomi Air Purifier PRO H. To be fully honest I was intrigued so much from the idea on installing a modchip, especially on the easiness of the installation that I bought the purifier. I didn't own such device one month ago. So I found a used purifier in an online craig list site of my country, then ordered the modchip from Flamingo. It arrived today after 13 days, which i find it quite fast (shipped from Netherlands towards Greece), and the installation took me no more than 5 minutes. It fitted perfectly and the purifier now shows always 100% remaining on the filter capacity or 333 days. The modchip as such is a beatiful piece of pcb art... So much that I wish the purifier case was somehow transparent so i could have a look at it :D.

Successfully installed and running in my 3H

The PCB is well-designed and manufactured.
It worked on the first try.
The installation instruction is clear and well documented with images.
Given the multiple warnings of electrocution and its detailed consequences, I wonder if there were any "shocking" experiences during development ;-)

Highly recommended

This is my second modchip. First one was mounted inside XAP 3H, second one in XAP 2S. Both work the same and as expected. Percent value gets reset to 100% every AP reboot, so if these devices are used within Home Assistant it is recommended to off/on the device when the counter gets close to 0% to prevent unnecessary warnings about filter replacement.
As for the SET adapter - I recommend thinking twice before mounting it. For example on both of my 3H and 2S PM2.5 sensors are accurate and never get stuck at 1ppm values. On the other hand using SET adapter may degrade sensor lifetime.

Works as expected

Fast shipping. Arrived in about a week.
Installation of the mod chip on a pro h was almost like in the instructions. The cable which connects to the board seems to be a few mm shorter than needed but i pulled on it a bit and managed to connect it.
I also bought the 001ppm board. That was a little trickier to install. With the purifier upside down i removed all the screws from where the top of the filter goes and this allowed me to pull the panel where the sensor is located. Now there is enough room to access the connector on the sensor.
I've got photos taken of both installs if anyone needs them.

Great mod with easy installation and good value for money.

I bought the Mod for my 3H Xiaomi Purifier unit. Received this within a few days time and with the online guide the installation was easypeasy to do. It took me 20 minutes max. After the Modding turn on the Air purifier and yes.... 100% filter remaining with a used filter that was still okay to use but was blocked by the nfc sensoring and time based calculation.

Back in control of changing the filters.

Installation was very simple and easy to do. Mod chip does what it promises and after installation the air purifier sees a filter placed like new. Communication was smooth and friendly. Highly recommend!

All too easy, and thanks for the extra piece of filter!

Such a simple and straight forward hack. Love it.
Delivery was fast given COVID courier issues these days.
Documentation was good.
Now I can extend the life of my filters because the life SHOULD be based on the volume of bad air - not time alone!

Switch from PerriAir to Air on Your Terms!

Easy install, just a few screws and replaces the original RFID reader cleanly. No problems whatsoever, and The Flamingo was easy to communicate with through the entire process. A good investment for Xiaomi owners to control their filter costs on their own terms!
