What is it?

The Nagami is a compact, high-performance System-on-Module (SoM) based on the Allwinner T113-s3. Designed in a full-size miniPCIe form factor, it integrates dual ARM Cortex-A7 cores with a broad range of communication and multimedia interfaces. The module adheres to NetCube Systems’ proprietary CISEM (Common Interface for Small Embedded Modules) standard, offering seamless integration in embedded systems where space and flexibility are key.

Why did you make it?

To have a working design that can be inserted into different carrier boards without needing to redesign the carrier board if a new cpu or mcu is to be used. Also for flexibility and ease-of-design of new carrier boards.

What makes it special?

Nagami stands out because it combines the familiarity of the miniPCIe form factor with the flexibility of our CISEM standard. That means integrators can quickly swap modules, scale performance, or add new features without redesigning their carrier boards.

Unlike many SoMs that are locked to a single use case, Nagami brings together industrial-grade connectivity (dual CAN, multiple UARTs, Ethernet), multimedia capabilities (I²S, SPDIF, HiFi4 DSP), and built-in wireless via its ESP32 coprocessor. Developers get a ready-to-go platform for both wired and wireless applications in a single footprint.

The onboard 4GB eMMC and factory-programmed QWIIC EEPROM simplify deployment, while the single 3.3V supply keeps hardware design straightforward.
