Made from clear 3mm thick acrylic, laser cut in our own shop for a precision fit. The 6 sides assemble easily using the included screws, and include cutouts for the Mega's USB and power connectors. The top of the enclosure includes slots for access to digital and analog expansion pins, and the rear side has a notch for routing a ribbon cable into the enclosure if needed (as an example, the SMART LCD controller adapter WILL fit inside this enclosure with room to route the ribbon cable out the rear panel). The height of the enclosure allows for a shield as well, with ample room for the Proto shield v3 as one example. There is also a small spacer that goes between the Mega and the lower cover to raise the board just enough so that the pins on the bottom of the circuit board don't scratch or crack the acrylic. The pieces come with a protective paper covering on both sides which peels off.
The inside dimensions of the enclosure are: W: 60mm x L: 114mm x H: 38mm high.
