What is it?

3.5 inch 4:3 NTSC/PAL video monitor kit, including main board, LCD, cable and 100-240VAC/12V DC adaptor.

Why did you make it?

Just more than twenty years ago, all of video content and "retro" computer was made for 4:3 ratio video. Nowadays, almost 100% of monitors has 16:9 (wide screen) and the old signals are horizontally stretched to fit 16:9, which is sometimes quite ugly and unclear. I have used this video for my retro computing joy and this time I succeeded to get some amounts of set. I hope this set will clear "frustration" for retro computing and also video console for old game machines.

What makes it special?

Composite NTSC and PAL signal input (auto switch), not for RGB signal
Two video signal input (yellow and white video connector signal input is auto-detected, and they can be switched by on-board tact switch), NO AUDIO circuit. Please prepare some another amplifier if your application needs audio signal.
100-240VAC/DC adaptor included for world-wide operation (plug type is US and please prepare if your region has another one)
Enclosure is NOT included. Please make your own enclosure. Sample 3D printable design is available at thingiverse
