Read More…One of the basic problems of H-bridge design is making sure that each MOSFET on a given leg of the bridge is only on while the other is off. If this gap (or "deadband") is not enforced by hardware, it must be done in firmware (if you have firmware).
This board is a discrete logic circuit to ensure safe operation of two H-bridges. It is intended to be paired with driver circuitry to fit the use-case.
No firmware is required for this device, and It can be easily replicated into a broader design. The default deadband timing is about 12ms.
