A 39x39mm fan controller with onboard temperature sensor based on ESP32-S3-mini (ESP32-S3-MINI-1-N4R2) that fits neatly into DeskPi Rackmate 1U Venting Blank Panel together with three 4pin PWM 40mm fans.
The board has the following features
- Control of 3 PWM fans (schematics is a 4 PWM fan variant not yet produced)
- BME280 for temperature measurement
- vertical USB-C for programming and power
The mounting holes are m3 size with distance 32mm x 32mm.
Why did you make it?
I was looking for a super compact 5V cooling solution for my 3U rack. I could not find anything which fit my needs so I decided to design my own.
What makes it special?
The form factor and control through ESPHome for manual and automatic speed control with onboard temperature sensor.
The PCB is made by and assembled by JCLPCB in China and shipped from Germany.
