Guide the power lines you want to protect through the hole in the sensor and AC (30 mA) or DC (6 mA) leakage (current not returning through the sensor) will trigger the alarm output.
DC leakage to Protective Earth is dangerous when not detected in EV charging, battery or solar systems (anywhere DC power is stored or generated). Regular AC ground-fault interrupts get saturated with a DC leak and do no longer protect against AC (nor DC) faults. This board makes it easy to add DC leak protection.
Board uses highly reliable BenVac sensor and has all supporting electronics to add DC leak protection to your device.
