This is the new Bluetooth Multi-Speaker Player module from BurgessWorld Custom Electronics. It is the latest in a line of Bluetooth audio products based on the Microchip BM83 Dual-mode Bluetooth SOC.

This Player module is part of a new line of turn-key Bluetooth solutions designed to shorten development time for custom Multi-Speaker Bluetooth systems.

The Player module can be used as a stand-alone Bluetooth receiver for playing audio from paired Bluetooth sources such as phones, PCs, tablets, or can be paired with other Player module to create an audio mesh using Microchip's Wireless Concert Technology software.

Multiple Player modules can also be paired to the Bluetooth Master Controller available COMING SOON. The Multi-Speaker Player module is cost-reduced with audio-out connections only. You only need a single Master controller to stream audio to an almost unlimited number of Player modules.

This module contains all of the critical components required to be integrated into your Multi-Speaker designs and fully supports all of Microchip's Wireless Concert Technology protocols and applications. The design is based on industry best-practices and Microchip design guidelines.

Note: This controller does NOT contain an amplifier, but does support headphone-out natively. It is designed to connect directly to an external amplifier via stereo RCA output jacks or header J16, or to an external DSP via header J15 for maximum flexibility.

Purchase of this controller includes choice of one of 2 external button boards.
