Why did you make it?

Primarily, I created this product because a number of people who have read my blogs about building and configuring a DIY networked attached storage server have asked me how they can help support me.

Secondarily, there's a bit of hassle involved in finding the latest TrueNAS CORE (or SCALE) image, downloading it, validating the download, and then writing that image to a USB drive. If you would like to avoid that hassle, then this product might well suited for you!
