The main use of the module is to send MIDI from one TRS input to five outputs (this is the ‘common Thru’ function). In addition there is a second MIDI input which will merge MIDI data to the 5 outputs.

More goodies:

• TRS MIDI inputs accept type A and B (no setup required)
• 5 TRS MIDI outputs + 2 rear outputs on pin header
• Swap type A to B for every output from the front panel (no fragile mechanical switches)
• Merge input (with hardware bypass if zero latency is required)

• MIDI Clock to analog sync outputs signals: - 1 pulse per step - 2 pulses per step (Korg / Teenage Engineering) - DIN SYNC (old Roland gear) - Start / Stop / Reset

I wanted a tiny module for my portable Eurorack case to be able to jam in sync when receiving MIDI Clock. It's a kind of Swiss Army knife, because it accepts any MIDI TRS cable (A or B) and the output cable type can be easily changed from the front panel.
