Kits now ship with the new AATINY84A-PU Micro
Designed as a fun side project, this platform uses an ATtiny84 Micro with more IO's than its brother the 85. V0.1C is the current version, Its exactly the same as in the product photo but instead of a 10(ten) pin header there is a standard 6 pin ICSP header on board. V0.1C is a bit smaller to maximize the use of a pcb panel.
What you will get
This is a kit with few easy to solder parts. The total parts count 13 hand solder-able through hole components. The ATtiny85 micro's do not come with a bootloader and therefore will need to be programmed via ICSP in some fashion.
Board color and finish may vary, I like oshpark but when it comes to mass quantities they are not really the best option. However for ENIG gold finish they are current in my opinion the best option as a US based fab, most boards will be manufactured with fusion PCB with HASL finish, these are not PB free boards!. This allows me to do smaller quantities and still be able to sell these products at a lower price then I would normally have to sell them at.
