The application's primary focus is on older Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Plymouth vehicles (roughly from the late 1980s to the mid-2000s) that utilize legacy communication protocols not supported by modern generic OBD2 scanners.

The application operates as part of a three-component ecosystem:

1. The .NET MAUI Application: The user-facing software that runs on Android, providing the interface for all diagnostic and programming tasks.
2. Custom Hardware Scanner (CryProV2): A proprietary Bluetooth LE device that acts as the physical interface between the mobile application and the vehicle's diagnostic port. The application communicates with this scanner by sending and receiving structured data packets.
3. Backend Services: The system leverages Firebase for user authentication and features a custom, cloud-based service to perform security calculations (seed/key) required for certain programming functions (VIN, mileage, etc).

Data handling is sophisticated, utilizing two distinct database strategies:

• A proprietary binary database contains the original, low-level diagnostic commands, transaction data, and textual information from the DRB III tool.
• Modern SQLite databases for structured and indexed data, such as vehicle coverage information and extensive calibration details for engine and transmission controllers.

• Bootstrap Mode: Implements the full SCI bootstrap protocol to put SBEC3, JTEC, EATX3 and EATX4 controllers into a low-level programming mode.
