Amazing little machine! Getting to know it slowly! MSX Away!

Very well constructed. Shipping to my part of the world was great! I understand now the change in platform naming but it could have been communicated a little better. Likewise the documentation, its a GREAT start but needs work to help the novice - even with the change in focus to a "FPGA development platform".
Having a great time with the machine so far! Its a very clever "adaption" of the original OneChipMSX platform. Can't wait to see what the hardware boffins come up with for the expansion interface!

Good quality OneChipBook

So i received the OneChipBook. The build quality is very good and flashing the firmware pretty easy. The communication with the seller is as expected so no complaints there.

Very good product

The computer is an MSX2+ FPGA based as One Chip MSX, Zemmix Neo, uMSX, etc. It comes with a blank FPGA, but with the computer, there is a USB Blaster to flash the FPGA.
Need a better documentation, but the proccess is very simple and it take less than 5 minutes to do it with a little bit of acknowledgement.
On the other side, the computer lacks a power suppley, comes with a USB3c cable but no charger.
Overall, is a good product and I'm happy with it.

Friking awesome product!

It feels a profesional product in hands, once is programmed the system works great. Lacks a bit of documentation but overall a great product with a great price. Recommended to all the MSX users!

Really nice device, does exactly what I wanted, well built.

I bought this while it was still known as the MsxBook, it seems its been re-branded since.
After waiting a while for shipping, it arrived in good condition, packaged very well.
I was impressed with the build quality. As others have mentioned the shell itself is 3D printed, but it looks like a professional job as its really well done and feels very sturdy.
My unit did ship with some firmware preloaded, but I have been through the steps to compile and upload the OneChipMsx firmware. It was pretty straightforward to do, but it helps that im familiar with the Cyclone line of FPGAs already.
The screen is nice and vibrant, but does have some slight interference if you look closely as another reviewer mentioned. I dont find it particuarly noticable or objectionable however.
The documentation that comes with this is really good, and its great to have the schematics as a reference.
My intention with this unit was to use it as a laptop form factor FPGA development platform, so its very interesting to see that it has re-branded as such.

I also have to mention that the keyboard feels amazing, I think it has real mechanical keys. I love the feel of it.

I'm really happy with it, I think it does exactly what I was I expected. It a quirky, well built device.
I felt I had to leave this review as one of the other reviews here was very negative and it just didnt reflect my own experience.

What would really make this a killer device however would be to make it compatible with MIST. Then a huge range of different machines could be emulated.
I'd love to get an Amiga or PC-XT running on this thing.

A dishonest seller + a product that can’t even be called a product.

First of all, this is a dishonest seller. Before purchasing, I noticed that the product page mentioned that the seller could assist with firmware installation (this information has now been deleted). Based on this, I decided to proceed with the purchase.

After purchasing, I also confirmed this via email, and the seller responded that they would install the firmware before shipping. However, upon receiving the product, I found that it was completely non-functional. When I contacted the seller again, they replied that they couldn’t do such a thing for me. After that, no matter how many times I tried to reach out, they never responded.

Additionally, the product itself is poorly made, featuring a rough 3D-printed shell. The bottom is so unstable that it cannot sit flat on a table, and it wobbles whenever I touch the keyboard. The screen also has significant interference patterns, which I believe are due to poor circuit design. The game cartridge slot is extremely narrow, and I have reason to believe that repeated insertion and removal of cartridges could damage the cartridge labels or even cause wear on the cartridges themselves.

I have purchased hundreds of different products online, and this has been one of the worst experiences.Maybe my strong dislike for dishonest people has influenced my feelings about the product as well. After all, the product is relatively inexpensive—that might be its only advantage.

Absolutely amazing build quality!

I was shocked to discover how a 3D printed case could be of such high quality, both in fit and finish. I managed to setup the SD card with the operating system and am still learning how to navigate the system. Now that I can see what can be done I would love to have a version built around the De10 Nano used for the MiSTer FPGA project, it would be great to be able to run those computer cores as a laptop computer.

P.S. The SD card must be formatted FAT16
