Want to use a cool new module in your design, but no-one sells a wearable version? Solder it to one of these wearable breakouts for easy sewing!

What is it?

This PCB lets you convert any electronics with a standard 0.1" pitch connector to easily sewable pads. The PCB is 38mm round (1.5 inches).

We wanted to use a sensor that no one had made a wearable version for. Rather than design it from scratch we created this breakout so we could easily prototype the design.

We think you will find it useful too!

How do I use it?

You can attach an Accelerometer, or a Proximity/Light sensor to the breakout by soldering their 0.1" connector to the breakout, or even just solder in single components. If you look at the photos we used a breakout to attach an IR LED and IR receiver to add IR communications to our wearable.

You get 5 breakouts, ready to solder and sew!
