Great machine, so much fun to build.

For OtterX 8-Bit Retro Computer

It took me about 8 hours to build this, and it was a blast. The instructions were great, the support was incredible, and I had such an incredible time building this computer. I'm excited to learn how to use it.

For OtterX 8-Bit Retro Computer

I did it! And without single mistake, and I am not experienced in soldering.
Documentation is enough, but could be of course much more verbose for newbies. For me it was OK. Interactive BOM was helpful in moments when something wasn't clear on the board.

The feeling when everything works after first power on was extremely satisfying. Thank you very much.

Fun and well documented build!

It's the first time I've seen one of these interactive BOM pages, it made it a breeze to install the relatively high number of components on the board. Everything seems well thought out and my kit worked on the first power on!

A very fun build indeed!

For OtterX 8-Bit Retro Computer

Wanted a retro computer build that I could tinker with for a long time, and when I stumbled on this kit it was a very quick buy! On the project's Github page the interactive BOM (build of materials) made finding and placing components very easy and fast! Even the bodge board installation was fairly straight forward! System runs great and will be an excellent system to help me relearn BASIC programming!

The OtterX is everything I had hoped it would be and more. The perfect solution for an ITX mounted X16 Machine.
I have my OtterX in a Checkmate Mini case, it was a perfect fit and is operating beautifully.
I ordered my board fully assembled and the build quality is Excellent.
Congratulations all around on a marvellous adaption of this clever little system!
