Shipping Policies

Shipping:

Starting from August 29, 2025, duties must be paid before sending items to the United States per Canada Post. It's about 30% for now. So it is included in the shipping cost for orders from USA only.

  • Orders are normally shipped within three business day.
  • Orders ship from Canada.
  • Depending on the destination, orders normally arrive about two weeks to the US, and up to several weeks internationally.

Customs and import duties:

  • International orders may be subject to duties, taxes, import fees, etc. These fees are not included in the price of the products, or the order total.

Looks fantastic, but has a few nits...

For SG-Sparkles

Overall, I really like it, but it has a few small flaws:
1) The controller isn't attached to the display, and the connecting wires are thin and prone to breaking (although they haven't yet, I still worry.)
2) Unlike the e-aster, there's no sample code on github;
3) There's a wi-fi antenna attached to the controller, but there's no documentation about how to make it work (and the obvious ways don't work).

Hi Eric, I am working to replace the wires with FPC cable for better connection. The antenna should work for XIAO esp32c3 but code is required. I will add more example code during this holiday season. Thank you for your valuable feedback.

Hypnotic and mesmerizing

It's *so* pretty. A compact little package of beauty. My only (very minor) complaint is the shipping time, which is entirely due to Canada Post, and not to the shipper. He's cool. I especially like the github links, just in case I get bored and decide to customize the lights. Or maybe I'll just look at the pretty lights some more.

Cool and versatile PCBs

For PCB-Origami-Triangle

I was excited to get my hands on these PCBs as they are quite versatile and allow making interesting designs. I've not gone as far as assembling a full discoball but have made some cool geometric light forms.

So gorgeous and well designed

I LOVE this PCB. It's especially nice as a wearable because using a second PCB as a diffusion layer makes it thinner, as well as the fact that the decorative design on the PCB cover layer is lovely. I pixel mapped it and ran some animations on it with Pixelblaze (also on Tindie!!!) and it looked lovely:
