For Discrete 555 Timer Kit
As a newcomer to the world of electronics, I had 2 goals for this kit. The first, and most important, was to fully understand the inner workings of the ubiquitous 555 integrated circuit. Breaking it down into discrete component form made that step simpler. The other goal was simply to get more practice with TTH soldering. Component quality was good. Delivery was prompt, the item well protected and packaged and the separation and labelling of the various components into small zip lock bags showed an attention to detail that, sadly, many lack. I have the board on my bench and it works flawlessly. As a bunch of components, its good value. But for me, its educational worth is priceless.
