Extremely good part!!
For Mocoder, AS5600 Magnetic Encoder
I recommend this part. Smooth turn compared to bounes 128 absolute encoder. It will be an excellent part for my windcock, plus I can completely insulate it in liquid tape which is not possible with a mechanical encoder such as the one I have been testing before.
No script have been written for raspberry pi for AMS5600 part (at least on opensource), so I had to write my own. Hopefully it wasn't very difficult !!
