Works like a charm
For PMW3610 Breakout Board
I needed an optical sensor for a mouse/trackball project I'm working on, and this board looks like it will fit the bill. It took me a few hours to get it working with an Arduino (ended up bit-banging the SPI interface) but, once I was able to read the registers reliably, the rest of it was easy.
The board came with the lens already in place. All I needed to do was bond the guideposts to the board.
Assuming I can work out the mechanics for the rest of the project, I'll likely buy more of these.
