My application was to overlay accelerometer data over a video camera image. So not only could I see an event happen, I could also observe the measured acceleration at the time, the two being synchronized and saved to a video file. The experimenter board worked as expected, I just found the overlay was quite faint. To remedy this I needed to lower the value of R2 (previously 330ohm) down to about 100ohm to increase the white level of the overlay relative to the video information. Thanks Tindie
Very cool product, the setup took me 5 minutes and it works immediatly. I'm using it with a RGB strip of 120 Leds. Now my project is to make a custom casing for the BoseBuild loudspeaker (http://build.bose.com), with the Led strip and Lumazoid inside.
In more, a suggestion I can make is to add a microphone with automatic gain control for the input of the Lumazoid, this way you can make an autonomous system.
Product does exactly what it says, there is a lot of documentation on their own site. Also got a very fast response when I asked a question. Where as most support libraries or not optimized very well, this library is made very fast. Which is good when you want to output 48k samples per second
