Works good, I tried it on an Apple IIgs and differents vintage Macintosh systems, the easiest way I found to create images for this device is to use Disk Jokey tool.

A simple an elegant solution!

Exactly what I was looking for: A battery replacement for my Mac SE/30 where I don't have to replace the existing plastic battery holder, and one that utilizes much safer and common CR2032 battery. Simple installation, easy access, and works.

Update: I also purchased two 16MBx4 memory upgrades kits along with the ROM upgrade, and it all works great, but I *highly* recommend getting the shims he sells as well. I tried using clamps on the memory but they just were not making good contact in the slots. With the shims, they came right up. Great products, pricing and customer service!

I’ve bought other stuff from him and it’s all quality at a good price.
I also recommend getting the shims he sells for the ROM and RAM. RAM totals the 128MB limit and a 2MB ROM. I do recommend 2 shims on the ROM if you have issues with your plastic slot. Just so excited for this.

Great product at great price

For SCSIknife desktop - ZuluSCSI™ compatible emulator

Being concerned about the longevity of the ~25 year old SCSI drive in my HP 16700A logic analyzer, I started to look for future proofing options. Other people have replaced the hard drive by SCSI2SD adaptors, but those tend to be fairly expensive(~120 USD not including shipping). Cheaper models exist, but still end up being >80 USD with shipping. This is further complicated by EU import fees. Then I found the SCSIknife, which is basically the same thing, but at only 49 USD *INCLUDING* shipping.

Placing the order during the weekend, the seller informed me on the very next work day that the unit was shipped. The delivery was in transit for 14 days, which was within the timeframe mentioned by the seller. The SCSIknife PCB itself was in an antistatic bag protected by a bubble-wrap padded envelope. Included was a short folder/sheet with specs and getting-started instructions.

Having no experience with SCSI-based disks, I had to spend some time getting familiar with the concept of termination and move some jumpers around, but following that, it was simply a matter of connecting the hard drive to the SCSIknife and cloning to the SD card started automatically. I couldn't get SD card reader mode to work, but was then informed by the seller that I needed to add an ini file with a specific string. This piece of information is "hidden" in the ZuluSCSI documentation, but the seller helped me out here.

The product itself works great. It has significantly sped up boot and read/write times of my aging logic analyzer and I'm no longer concerned about data loss in case of disk failure, as I can now easily back up the system hard disk.

All in all a great product at a very favorable price. Thanks a lot!

Well made, quality ram

Bought this ram for my Amiga side expansion and it works great! It is well made and looks good with the purple design. Love the fact the modules are fully tested, unlike some you might find on Ebay. Good price too, would recommend for maxing out memory on these old machines.
