Extremely satisfied with the hardware and software.

For 4" NanoVNA V2 Plus4

I have really enjoyed the “Plus 4” version. I also have an official V2.2 VNA from Tindie but I am enjoying the enhancements of the Plus 4. The larger display is nice but the reality is that the most utility comes from connecting the unit to a PC COM PORT and using the software interface. This unit is quite accurate and puts a previously unaffordable piece of test equipment into the hands of hobbyists, technicians, and engineers. Thanks to all the folks who have made this possible.

I gave 1-stars for communications due to the fact that though I purchased both units from Tindie, Tindie failed to respond to my request for purchase price credit.

Amazing versatile instrument

For 4" NanoVNA V2 Plus4

Amazing capability for the price. If you know what it is and have things you want to use it for, great. Many buy it with no real idea of how or for what they'll use it, or maybe just to use it as an antenna analyzer. That's good too, and even better if in investigating its uses, it sparks learning and broadening of their understanding of RF electronics. The documentation, such as it is, is all on-line and not the easiest for someone just getting started. The UI can seem pretty opaque and complicated, but is actually pretty straightforward once you get a little bit of experience with it. Fortunately, there are many good You Tubes on operating it and using it in various applications.

Very disappointed that the main CPU does not have FPU.

Received the NanoVNA V2 Plus4 well packaged and delivered before the expected delivery date. Thank you.
Very disappointed that the main CPU in the VNA does not have the Floating Point Unit (FPU) as previous units do have them. They should be advertised as not having the FPU and sold for less. The addition computational speed on a VNA would be a great benefit.
Will these VNA units be replaced??
Not happy!!

Hello, all VNA calculations use fixed point math and do not use floating point. The developer verified there is zero difference in measurement speed with or without FPU enabled, so it is disabled in all firmware builds. The sweep speed above 140MHz is always 400 points/s. As FPU is disabled in all firmware releases, it will make no difference if it is present or not.

Great product, exactly as advertized, and hefty weight to it

For 4" NanoVNA V2 Plus4

This NanoVNA is pretty impressive. I use external software to run it so I can't comment on the screen, but the product has a nice weight to it, it is faster than the original NanoVNA, and gives predictable results with known DUTs.
