Definitely an upgrade from the original PS4 controller.

For PS4 Compatible Bluetooth wireless controller

Ok I've had these controllers for about a month or so now. I've used them and compared them to the original PS4 controllers.
Observations:
- They are not quite as heavy as the original, but that's barely noticeable.
- I like that I can pair these via bluetooth with just about anything, but then again, I haven't tried this with the original. It was weird pairing it with my phone....not sure why I'd do that but that was a bit of fun.
- The battery life seems to be good. It's hard to compare if you don't have a new controller of each type.
- The joysticks. They seems a lot more solid. Again, maybe because they're new. I don't know.
- exactly the same enclosure and ruggedness as the original.
- Sometimes you have to press the PS button again after powering the PS4 on with the controller to log in. I don't mind this.
- Less than half the cost of the original Sony controller
- Not much in the way of documentation but not much is required. The only think you need to learn is how to pair it.

So, worst case, it's the same controller as you had before. There is no significant difference or advantage that I can see. I was hopeful but kind of expecting some sort of disappointment. I was not expecting it to be as good as the original. The biggest difference is that it's half the cost.

I recommend these to anyone looking for a new PS4 controller....or wireless bluetooth controller for the PC or other console.
