This is a great expansion board for the RC2014. It's well thought out and really high quality. Talking of high, yes, it is taller than the standard RC2014 modules, so it will stick up - however the extra room allows for more circuitry than the official RC2014 Prototype Module does. It also allows for a double pin header so you can use the Enhanced RC2014 bus connections. Certainly worth having a couple of these in your tool box!

Perfect RS232 module for Raspberry PI all models fit
I'm using the MiniPiio RS232 module in order to use my old RS232 devices to connect to my Raspberry Pi model B (only 2 USB already used). The module perfectly fit into the Raspberry Pi model B GPIO slot and also into the Raspberry Pi 3 I've tested. The support communication is great, professional and deeply technical. I strongly recommand this product for any RS232 needs on Raspberry Pi.
Which shows the angle of travel of a cyclic and pitch of a helicopter . Additionaly the forces of cyclic and pitch should be measured mulipexed . At the grafic then force and angle will be combined and ( I hope) will demonstrate the desired usefulnes of the mechanic of the helicopter .
Kit worked as it was promised. It might worth to consider bringing in the game another pin such as the DCD (pin #1 on the RS232) taking into account that the IC has still some free legs. Currently TX/RX was enough for me but situations might arise when one needs an extra pin.

Thanks your review.
I'll look into bringing out more of the RS232 signals to pins on the next board revision.
