Mounting and Setup Tips

Outdoor Installation: Mount the loop outdoors on a mast or pole for best performance. The idea is to get it up and away from structures to reduce interference.

Power OFF for FM/UHF/VHF: If you’re tuning in higher frequencies (FM, aviation, etc.), turn the power off — the loop will function passively for cleaner reception.

Power ON for HF/Shortwave: Turn the power on for maximum signal amplification (20dB). This is where the GA800 really shines for shortwave enthusiasts.

Protection: The loop itself is not waterproof, so if you're mounting it outside long-term, protect it from the elements.

No Mast Included: The antenna mast or pole must be purchased separately.
