Instrunctions for MicroSD: The folder name needs to be mp3, placed under the SD card root directory, and the mp3 file name needs to be 4 digits, for example, "0001.mp3", placed under the mp3 folder. You can also name your file with descriptions of the track e.g./ "0001hello.mp3"

Why did you make it?

I am a musician, I built the first one for myself and my band. I wanted to have greater control over our live show. My band is small and local and cant rely on the sound guy to cue our backing tracks. we also couldn't afford more costly solutions like laptops with midi triggers. Also, time is a factor for tear down and setup during gigs. the Stage Bro is quick and simple.

Fits my exact need

Mentioned this to the creator, but this has replaced many, many different devices I used to try to achieve similar goals (EHX Loopers, JamMan, Electro-Faustus Simulacrum, Bastl MicroGranny, my smartphone). The Stage Bro is especially great because I don't need to convert the bitrate or format of my tracks in order to use them AND it has dedicated Play/Pause, Fwd, and Back switches. The only thing that would make this better is if it had a 1/4 audio out so I didn't need an adapter to run this through my amp or PA.

Stage Bro Mini

I recently had been in contact with the builder to make a custom version of this pedal for me. He was very helpful and was able to make exactly what I was looking for. From start to finish right down to delivery it was a very easy process. I’m very happy with the finished product it’s very well built and easy to use. My band uses it for custom sample triggers during our shows without having to rely on a sound tech. There is no other product on the market that could accommodate what we were trying to accomplish. It fits nicely on a pedal board. Highly recommended.

It’s awesome bro

This thing is just killer. It is clearly well made and works right out of the box. I’ve dabbled in DIY pedals myself and this bad boy is pro level.

Comes with everything you need to start jamming. The included micro USB stick is icing on the cake. The operation is simple, and again, it just works.

I have spent some time using it to play songs I wanna learn through my amp while I play along. Having the foot control is so much nicer than my phone or laptop. I put some drum tracks on it too. (Convert YouTube videos to MP3 with the freeware available out there!)

The seller is very communicative. Shipped to the US with no issues. 10/10 would buy from again.
