This module its based in the old trick of hooking the Roland TR-808/909 rimshot to sync the ARP.

This time , you need no expensive material , only your DAW and usb connector.

It allows synchronize the ROLAND Juno 60 Arpegiator with Ableton (or any other DAW) via USB/midi.
PCB fully assembled and ready to use, just plug to your synth and ready to go.
Tested under windows 7 64 bits and Mac and Roland juno 60 , needs no driver.

Tested compatible: - Roland JX-3P - Roland Juno 6 - Roland sh-101

notes: - Cables not included - no power supply required - Metal case has been discontinued

Because it needed to be made, its just a lot of fun to use !!

No problem after testing

The packaging is very good, the screws and the circuit board are packaged separately, the installation process is effortless, and the speed of ARP can be perfectly controlled after testing,
WIN10, Ableton live 11.

Just Fantastic

Easy to assemble ..... then just connect it to your Mac and synth and then draw in some notes in the ARPSYNC track in Logic and you're done. Works flawlessly with my Jupiter 6 ..... Opens up a whole new world of creative possibilities. Very happy.

This thing works perfectly

Got this set up with my Juno-60 and it works well. Arp Tempo syncs with DAW but audio only outputs when the track is playing (obviously). I use Logic Pro X and there wasn't any documentation with instructions on how to setup the MIDI on Logic, which might be helpful for future customers. For Logic users: create an External MIDI track with the ARPSYNC and then create a blank MIDI region. You can write in your own rhythm or you can write a sustained note and add the Logic Arpeggiator plugin and control the arpeggio speed and style you want. The ARPSYNC is a great little device and has brought my JUNO-60 into a new world of exploration. I don't know what else is out there like this, but I highly recommend.

Amazing !!!

Fantastic product that works really well !

I also bought the DCB to midi connector and I've been using both everyday.
They are complimentary and work well in different context.
I'd suggest buying both if you have the budget.

Easy to use in your DAW.

Amazing!

Just what I needed for my Roland Juno-6, really easy to set up in Logic Pro, just select the arpsync as an External Midi instrument and then enter the rhythm you want in MIDI notes and then play the arp in time with your BPM!

Arpsync: everything old is new again

This little box somehow manages to bridge the gap between the old world and the new. Plug it in to your old analogue synth through the CV trigger , connect it to usb, and feed it midi notes. Just make sure your USB cable isn't broken like mine was, and you're good to go! The Juno 6 I have syncs perfectly to my DAW. In the DAW, go to settings and make sure to find the ARPSYNC under midi devices and enable it as an output. Create a midi track and go to the track's routing and select the ARPSYNC as the hardware output. After that, just create evenly spaced midi notes on the track (they don't have to have a VST instrument attached to them or anything, just plain midi "blocks" like normal). When you press play, the synth will be synced to the midi in the DAW ie. it will step though each note of your chord sequentially every time it gets a note-on signal from the midi blocks. This means that you can create uneven midi note spacings and the synth will trigger in unusual rhythm patterns like shuffles etcetera.
