What is it?

This is DIY Kit for the Micro Journal who would like to build by themselves. In order to help those who wants to enjoy the weekend soldering and assembling one of the DIY kits of Micro Journal

Custom Color

Custom colors are available. Check the Micro Journal Rev.6 page for pre defined colorway. If the preset colors doesn't fit and you want to customize the colors. Please, message the shop and make sure to get confirmation about your color description.

Required Skills and Tools

• Basic Soldering Skills and Soldering Iron
• Philips Screw Driver
• TORX T10H to handle Hex screws
• Hobby Glue Gun
• 30 AWG Wires

Rev.6 DIY Kit includes:

• 3D printed parts
• pre soldered Keyboard PCB
• Hot Swappable Socket x 50,
• Diode x 50
• Micro Controller - ESP32 S3 with Micro Journal Firmware loaded
• Display - ILI9341
• LiPo Battery Charger Module
• 18650 Battery Holder
• Sliding Switch, 2 x 10mm M2 screw and nut
• 8 x M2 threaded inserts and 6mm screws
• 4 x M3 threaded inserts and 6mm screws

What is not included SD card, and 18650 LiPo Battery (~3300mAh), Cherry MX switches, Keycaps are required to run the Micro Journal
