An easy interface to get your ideas onto a LED matrix with speed! You have seen these pannels used in running advertisements but NOW you can run what you want... super sized! I've built a board that interfaces the Particle Photon (an IoT Arduino with super easy webhooks, web IDE and internet connection) with the matrix (any size).
Did someone say SUPER CAPACITOR? It also has a SUPER CAPACITOR to maintain the RTC on board. All pins are broken out as well as a large PLUSH proto area. Two buttons also allow quick local input to your IoT display.
I make Word Clocks and this was a logical progression. I had seen these matrix displays around and wanted to control one myself. The concept of an IoT controlled display thrills me.
WiFi, LEDs, Super Capacitor, Webhooks.... need I say more?

ADDED INFO: Have has a couple questions re what is the draw. Just tested it at full tilt: Red only 1.52A Green only 1.2A Blue only 0.4A White (all) 2.6A
If you are running it full tilt boogie then utilise the 'EXT' input as the Photon utilises a 1A max schottky.
