These are a set of spare/extra parts for the [SparKIT electrostatic generator] It includes

• 8 small motor screws
• 8 charge collectors
• 16 brushes

The small motor screws are M1.7*2.5 and are ideal for mounting most rf-300 series motors through 1.6mm thick material such as a pcb. They are crosshead and require a small screw driver. (2mm shaft seems to work well)

The charge collectors are modified smd 2.54mm pitch headers. Due to the way that they are cut, they end up with a sharp edge which is important for good charge transfer. They are designed to be soldered onto a pcb, however other attachment methods should also be possible.

The brushes are specially made for use in Wimshurst and other induction machines. Unlike other Wimshurst machine brushes which use wire brushes, these are made from carbon fibre that does not get permanently bent or scratch the discs. The brushes are in the form of a crimped ferrule that can be soldered into a PCB or on the end of a wire. The fibre part is 6mm long.
