What is it?

This is a solution to the tedious challenge of having to change manually the time of every analog clock at home, twice a year, due to Daylight Savings Time (DST).

This clock connects via radio to a local gateway (capable of serving up to 15 clocks) plugged into any AC wall outlet in your home or any USB port available. The gateway connects via WiFi and gets from internet its location, time, DST status and dates of change automatically.

When the date of DST change takes place, gateway instructs all linked clocks to adjust their times either forward or backwards to the new time.

It does it all automatically so you do not need to worry about when the next DST time takes place or whether it is clockwise or counter-clockwise. Not to mention avoiding to reach each clock, bring them down, adjust their time and get them back to hang on the wall.

Why did I design this?

Although analogue decorative clocks are fun and very inexpensive they bring a hidden "gift", the need to adjust them manually twice a year due to DST time changes.

It is quite common to have several of those clocks around a home (in some cases up to 8 or more) making the task demanding and time consuming, but there is no option. We know the profound implications of having a clock you rely on, not showing the correct time.

Standard physical dimensions allows you to replace the movement on any existing clock at home or simply install it into a new one.

Minimum impact to battery life - it uses a standard AA battery (Not included).

Plug and play detection of location, time and DST requirements (regardless of time-zone or country of use).

Easy setup: All you need is a gateway and as many movements as you want (Up to 15). Set your WiFi parameters on the gateway and you are ready to go.

Movements can be purchased separately or in a pack including one movement and one gateway (starting kit).

Clocks' time can be adjusted at a distance from a battery or USB powered handheld device (sold separately). The display provides visibility of all clocks' battery charge and any alarm due to a disconnected status. It also shows the current date and time so it can be used as a desktop clock.
