You never have to swap chips to test any specific chip again. Ordered some Chinese chips that are suspicious? No worries, test them with Vetus Pars. Oh, that chip isn’t listed? No worries, grab the software and design a new test and save it.
That’s right, you can create your own tests and save them to the tester. Once you’ve done that you will always have the test available to you. Even better, go to the forums and share your tests with others.
Vetus Pars uses a VM type system that takes code similar to asm and runs tests for any chip you might think of. There are many OpCodes to make coding simpler such as setting all the pin levels with one opcode and three 32 bit arguments. You can set addresses by defining which pins make up the address and then sending the address value. There are many possibilities.
